Vì vậy, dự kiến kết quả hoạt động kinh doanh của KBC những tháng cuối năm sẽ có nhiều đột biến.

Sáng ngày 11/7/2016, tại Văn phòng UBND tỉnh Bắc Giang đã diễn ra lễ ký kết Hợp đồng nguyên tắc thuê lại đất tại Khu công nghiệp Quang Châu giữa Công ty Cổ phần Khu công nghiệp Sài Gòn – Bắc Giang (tên viết tắt SBG, là chủ đầu tư KCN Quang Châu, cũng là công ty con của KBC) và Công ty JA Solar Hongkong Investment. Theo đó, JA Solar thuê 88 ha tại KCN Quang Châu của KBC để đầu tư dự án sản xuất pin năng lượng mặt trời với tổng vốn đầu tư lên tới hơn 1 tỷ USD. Với diện tích cho thuê này, SBG sẽ thu được hơn 1000 tỷ; nhà đầu tư sau khi ký hợp đồng nguyên tắc sẽ đặt cọc ngay 20%.

Chiều ngày 6/5/2016, tại KCN Tràng Duệ, thuộc Khu Kinh tế Đình Vũ - Cát Hải, thành phố Hải Phòng, Công ty LG Display Việt Nam đã long trọng tổ chức lễ khởi công xây dựng tổ hợp nhà máy với diện tích 40,5ha.

Chiều ngày 5/4/2016, tại KCN Tràng Duệ, thuộc Khu Kinh tế Đình Vũ – Cát Hải, đã diễn ra lễ kí kết hợp đồng thuê đất với diện tích 40,5 ha giữa Công ty SHP (là công ty con của Tổng công ty Phát triển Đô thị Kinh Bắc) và Công ty LG Display (LGD).
